Planning and reporting help us meet the needs of our community, improve the quality of teaching and enhance outcomes for all of our students.
School Strategic Plan
NSW public school principals develop a comprehensive school plan and annual school report in consultation with the school community, connected to a budget and student outcomes.
The school plan provides principals with the opportunity to lead educational innovation for the improved delivery of quality teaching, learning and leadership outcomes. Importantly, strategic directions and the design of a school plan should clearly reflect Department of Education Strategic Directions and Priorities, demonstrating the collective alignment and commitment to excellence for our school as part of NSW public education.
The School Excellence Framework underpins our school planning and reporting approach. The framework provides a clear description of the key elements of high-quality practice across learning, teaching and leading.

School Annual Reports
The Annual Report is provided to the school community as an account of the school’s operations and achievements throughout the year. It is the result of rigorous school self-assessment practices undertaken collaboratively with staff, parent/caregivers and student leaders.
It provides a detailed account of the progress the school has made to provide high quality educational opportunities for each and every child set out in the school plan. It outlines the findings from self-assessment that reflect on the impact of key school strategies for improved learning and the benefit to all students from the expenditure of resources including equity funding.
The Annual Report describes the school’s high quality practices across the three domains of the School Excellence Framework of learning, Teaching and Leading.
